How do I arrange a visit?

Prospective clients as well as friends and family are welcome to visit the home at any time, either just by dropping in or calling ahead to book an appointment. Our staff will do their best to make themselves available to show visitors around and answer any questions should you have any.

How quickly can you help?

We can help as quickly as you need us to. As soon as an enquiry is made then the process commences with client details etc.

Who will pay for the care required?
This depends on your circumstances and type of care required, but a number of options are available. Care can be funded by social services or a private contract, or a combination of both.
Residential care can be paid by:
1) Social services contract with client contribution/social services payment.
2) Private – client contribution only.
Nursing care can be:
1) Social services contract with client contribution/social services contribution / FNC payment.
2) Continuing care – fully funded.
3) FastTrack – fully funded – end of life care.
4) Private contract – client contribution/FNC payment.
Where can I find out about funding care?
Adult social care direct are the first point of call and will take details of prospective clients before referring each case to a suitable social worker who will assess the financial / heath and care needs to agree type of placement required. Adult Social Care Direct: Tel 4337300
What qualifications do your nurses hold?
Nurses have their own NMC Pin number which is annually checked, Senior staff are all required to have NVQ level 2 and 3, Care staff have NVQ level 2 or are expected to achieve this during their employment.
Can residents spend any time outside of the home?
Though there are plenty of things to see and do around the home, and a lovely garden for residents to enjoy, we also conduct occasional trips with small groups to local attractions and family and friends are welcome to take residents out for the day as long as this is agreed with staff.
Are senior living arrangements made for married couples?
We are able to provide rooms for married couples but this does depend on category of care and what rooms are available at the time, however we will always try to accommodate where we can.
